Meet the Team Behind the Horror

How do you create a Halloween event that combines horror, theatrical storytelling, immersive scenes with live entertainment, AND pandemic safety measures? The Haunted Road is the result of a collective group of passionate, award-winning local professionals that are collaborating to bring to life a first-of-its-kind event in Orlando.

Meet the talented team that is making this event possible:

Elena Berisha Production Coordinator

As a production coordinator, Elena helps with everything, from event and production

logistics to web development. With a background in computer science and project management for game development, Elena enjoys combining her technical skills with her experience in the arts – which includes musical theater, writing, and dancing – to help bring to life The Haunted Road.

Ashley Edwards

Social Media Manager

Ashley has 20+ years of experience as a digital marketing strategist and social media manager for well-known global brands, such as Wyndham Destinations, Loews Hotels & Resorts, Universal Parks & Resorts and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. He is also a lover of his city of Orlando and co-founded and manages a blog about it, Pulse of Central Florida.

Kat Gerding

Product Developer & Intellectual Property Manager

Growing up in Central Florida, Kat has focused her career around theme parks and all things entertaining. She has designed attractions, games, and retail experiences enjoyed by millions nationwide. Kat is passionate in re-imagining how we experience entertainment in a rapidly evolving world.

Nick Graves

Entertainment Director, Show Director and Writer

Nick is a dedicated director, writer and producer, working with Walt Disney Entertainment for over 23 years. He loves collaborating and bringing talented people together to develop extraordinary and immersive experiences. At his core, he’s a true storyteller and loves the challenge of making the impossible...possible!

John Hurst

Character designer, concept artist and illustrator

John has been animator and story artist for over 25 years, working on feature films for Walt Disney Studios, 20th Century Fox, and currently with Netflix Animation.

Jessica Mariko

Executive Producer and Creative Principal

Mariko has developed more than 700 never-before-seen entertainment experiences including theatrical shows, themed events, corporate entertainment, culinary experiences and immersive environments. In 2013 she founded DRIP, an immersive theatrical dance/rock show, bar and tourist attraction known for its full sensory environment and raw emotional audience connection. During its successful five-year run on International Drive, the show received 4.5-5 star reviews on Tripadvisor, Yelp, Facebook and Google.

Mariah Lynn Roberts


For the past three years, Mariah has served as the Community Arts Programming Manager at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, ensuring diverse programming, working with hundreds of Central Florida Arts Groups and producing original show content. Previously, she worked with Cox Events Group as an event producer, produced film shoots, concerts, theatrical performances, comedy shows and photo shoots for Walt Disney World and has also worked for WFTV (Channel 9).

Chris Short

Technical Director

Chris has been working in the creative entertainment space for over 20 years. With a deep background in technology, music and integration, he spearheads blending and facilitating the technical needs of any performance with the human aspect to create innovative and exceptional events.

Amanda M. Sieracki

Road Manager and Production Coordinator

One part stage manager, one part thespian, one part computer nerd, two parts Google Sheets Master…she is a seasoned renaissance woman! Coming from a lifetime in theatre, some of her past experiences include stage managing, producing, and assistant directing theatrical performances in the DC, NYC, and Central Florida areas. She currently serves as the operations manager for a performing arts center in NYC.

David Traver

Music Composer and Sound Designer

David Traver is a musician, composer and sound designer. As a performing musician he has performed with countless bands and projects, most notably as a performer and music director of the Blue Man Group for 20 years. As a composer he works with film, TV, web, Apps and theatrical content. David composed the score for the super popular underground dance/rock experience DRIP which ran for 5 years at I-Drive.

Rob Ward

Show Director and Writer– Daytime Family Friendly Experience

Rob is a show writer and director at Walt Disney Parks and Live Entertainment, as well as an Improvisational teacher and performer at Orlando's historic SAK Comedy Lab. He has also worked for Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, Blue Man Group Orlando, and the Orlando Fringe Theater Festival. A passionate community-minded leader in the entertainment industry, Rob currently serves as the Vice President of Entertainment on the Come Out With Pride Orlando board of directors.
