WHAT IS THE HAUNTED ROAD?The Haunted Road is a drive-thru Halloween experience. Guests have the opportunity to drive down one of the last remaining haunted roads in Orlando, Florida to witness infamous ghost sightings and theatrical happenings. The road is roughly a 30-minute drive in a natural Florida environment. This year, we have noticed serial killers of the past returning to look for new victims. Radio stations are known to getting interrupted in these areas so please arrive with a working FM radio in your vehicle in order to hear the ghosts.

LOCATION15239 Lake Pickett Road Orlando, FL 32820 The Haunted Road is near the Corn Maze Orlando and Painted Oaks Academy. You can expect rough, unpaved and sometimes muddy terrain, perfect for a true haunted experience. From 408-East: Merge onto E Colonial Drive/FL-50 E via EXIT 23 toward Titusville. Turn left onto Lake Pickett Road/FL-420. (Lake Pickett Road is 0.2 miles past Bonneville Drive. If you reach Hancock Lone Palm Road, you've gone about 0.2 miles too far.) After 1.06 miles, turn right to stay on Lake Pickett Road/FL-420. (Lake Pickett Road is 0.3 miles past Priest Court. If you are on Percival Road and reach Brogden Court, you've gone a little too far.) 15239 LAKE PICKETT ROAD is on the left. Look for a sign for The Haunted Road! (Your destination is just past S Tanner Road. If you reach Oriskany Drive, you've gone about 1.9 miles too far.)

HOW LONG IS THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE?We recommend that you reserve 60-90 minutes + for your visit to The Haunted Road. The drive down the road is 30 minutes, you will park your vehicle at the end of the road in order join the Afterlife Party!

IS THE EVENT FAMILY-FRIENDLY?People of all ages are welcome to attend The Haunted Road but please note that once you are on the road, you must drive the entire road in order to exit, it is a one-way road. In the event that you need to modify your experience, you can raise your windows, lower the radio volume and non-drivers can close their eyes. Many youth who enjoy scary and creepy experiences will have no issues while on The Haunted Road however, you know your limits best and should consider that prior to purchasing tickets. Driving The Haunted Road can be frightening and fun but may be intense for younger attendees.

ARE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?Food trucks are known to show up on The Road but they vary each night and cannot be guaranteed. Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the Afterlife Party provide by Bartini. Please have a designated driver if you are planning on drinking alcohol.

IS THE VENUE COMPLETELY OUTDOORS?The Haunted Road will take place outdoors, in an open air barn and in a Haunted House barn. The terrain is rough, perfect for a true haunted experience. Since the terrain is unpaved, you can expect your vehicle to get a little muddy and wet while on The Haunted Road. Wear walking shoes/boots and long pants to protect yourself from the elements.

CAN I WEAR MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME?Yes! We highly encourage all guests to wear their Halloween costumes! No weapons allowed. We recommend socks, boots and long pants to protect you from the natural elements if you are planning on getting out of your vehicle for any reason.

CAN I USE MY CAMERA DURING THE EXPERIENCE?Yes, you can take photos while you aren't driving, and the flash must be turned off. You may record short videos (up to 15 seconds each) while you aren't driving and without any flash or external lighting. If you capture the experience, be sure to tag us at @thehauntedrd on all social media channels! We may even re-share it!

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE IN ADVANCE at TheHauntedRoad.com. Admission and ticket price is not guaranteed if tickets are not purchased in advance. Based on the previous year’s attendance, admission is expected to sell out, so make sure to secure your dates as soon as possible! Upon selecting a date, you’ll be instructed to select a specific entrance time. When an entrance time reaches capacity, it will no longer be available for purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your tickets and a liability waiver that all attendees must sign prior to arrival. BUYER BEWARE: QR codes can only be scanned once. Entry is not guaranteed for tickets re-sold by individuals or third parties that have not been contracted to do so through The Haunted Road.

HOW DO I CHECK IN?Upon arrival, please pull up your tickets on your mobile device. You can show us the QR code on your phone or you can print it out and bring it. The driver will be required to have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.

WHAT IF I’M EARLY OR LATE FOR MY ENTRY TIME?The Haunted Road has specific timed ticketing. Please plan to arrive at your assigned arrival time. Keep in mind, your ticket time is an ARRIVAL time, NOT an entrance time. Space is limited at the entrance, so those who arrive early will be directed to drive around and come back at their scheduled arrival time. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and time-based to create the best experience for all guests. If you arrive late, you may not be able to enter the event.

DOES EVERYONE IN MY VEHICLE NEED A TICKET?Yes, each person in your vehicle will need a ticket. Prices are per person.

DO I HAVE TO BUY TICKETS FOR CHILDREN?General admission tickets are required for children 3 years old and older. You may experience sudden and scary action and sounds at The Haunted Road that may not be suitable for young children. Children two years and younger do not need a ticket.

WHAT VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED?Vehicles may not exceed 7.5 feet tall and 8.5 feet wide and 17' in length and be able to navigate tight turns. Lifted, low-riding, luxury, large trucks, and oversized vehicles including limos are not permitted for this terrain because you will not make it through without damaging your vehicle or the property. Vehicles are limited to cars and trucks only and must have four tires, working seat belts, brake lights, and headlights. Vehicle may have open tops or doors. No motorcycles, scooters, or bikes are permitted. Your vehicle may be gently touched by people, spirits and soft objects. If your headlights do not turn off while in park then we may require you to cover them with something that we provide. All vehicles should have working radios in order to listen in to the ghosts. Your vehicle may get wet.

WHO CAN DRIVE ON THE HAUNTED ROAD?All drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Vehicles are required to have current car insurance and the driver will be responsible for any damage and/or injuries that may occur due to the fault of the driver, staff, performers, or anyone else.

CAN I GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE?For the safety of everyone, including guests, staff and performers, you must remain in your vehicle at all times except while on The Road. Once you start driving The Haunted Road, you must drive the entire road from start to finish and then park your car to walk to the Human Slaughterhouse. In the event of an emergency, please speak to a staff member.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF GUESTS PER VEHICLE?All guests must have their own seat and seatbelt in order to enter The Haunted Road.

WHAT IS THE SPEED LIMIT?The speed limit on The Haunted Road is 5 miles per hour.

WHAT IF I NEED TO GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE OR LEAVE EARLY?For everyone’s safety, all guests must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the experience except in designated areas. In the event of an emergency, please talk to one of our road rangers so they can assist.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?The Haunted Road is located in the natural Florida farm land. Please wear your walking shoes/boots, socks and long pants. Put on bug spray to protect yourself from the elements. DO NOT WEAR open toed shoes or heels.

COULD I GET LOST ONCE ON THE HAUNTED ROAD?Some drivers have reported feeling momentary blackouts or the unexplainable feeling of being "lost" while driving The Haunted Road. If you are not one of those people, then it is relatively easy to navigate as it is a one-way road that you can travel from start-to-finish.

DO I NEED TO TURN OFF MY HEADLIGHTS ONCE PARKED?Vehicles are required to have their headlights on while driving. Once you arrive at a designated parking or stopping area, you will put your vehicle into park and turn off your headlights.

WHAT IF MY VEHICLE BREAKS DOWN OR RUNS OUT OF GAS?Vehicles are known to experience unexpected happenings while on The Haunted Road. Tow trucks can only enter The Haunted Road during daylight hours (they are too scared to come at night) so we recommend that all vehicles are tuned up and gas tanks are full prior to entering the experience. In case of an emergency, our road rangers will work with you to safely and immediately relocate your vehicle to the side of the road.

WILL I BE DRIVING THE WHOLE TIME?No, you will park in designated areas for the best ghost watching experience along the road. You will also park your vehicle at the end of the road in order to walk to the Human Slaughterhouse.

DO I NEED A RADIO?YES, we recommend driving a vehicle with a working radio for the complete ghost hunting experience. Ghosts are known to interrupt radio stations on The Haunted Road and you may be able to hear them if you listen carefully.

WHAT IF I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM?We recommend using the bathroom prior to arriving as you will not be able to stop once you enter the road. There are porta potties available at the end of the road in the Afterlife Party. In an emergency, please inform our staff so they can assist.

ARE PEOPLE ALLOWED TO TOUCH MY VEHICLE?Things (living and otherwise) may approach your vehicle and touch it while in safely parked positions.

CAN MY PET BE IN THE VEHICLE?Unfortunately, there are no pets of any kind allowed on The Haunted Road.

WILL I BE SCARED WHILE DRIVING?Ghost sightings may be viewable along the road although drivers have reported that ghosts do not usually approach your vehicle or suddenly scare drivers while driving. Park in designated parking areas along the road to encounter more intense scares.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?The Haunted Road is NOW accessible during light-to-medium rainfall. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we may delay entrance at the last minute or ask that you move your tickets to another night. Transferring tickets to another night is only available to guests if we close the entrance to The Haunted Road.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY VISIT?Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
