COVID-19 SAFETY

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING FOR THE ROAD RANGERS?

The safety of our team is top priority, so the current health guidelines are always incorporated into everything we do. Below are the key measures we are taking. Please note, we are constantly re-evaluating our COVID-19 safety procedures and adjusting our policies as needed.

  • The working environment is almost entirely outside and in open-air barns.
  • Unvaccinated team members will wear masks while on-site.
  • Frequent hand sanitizing is required.

ARE MASKS REQUIRED?

Masks are required for all unvaccinated guests. Our policies are subject to change at any time as COVID safety recommendations are evolving.

WHAT COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING?

The Haunted Road is an outdoor experience that involves driving on a road and being outside away from other guests. If you don't want your haunted experience to end after you drive The Haunted Road, you can visit "The Barnyard" (optional paid admission) located at the end of the road, it is outside and in open air barns.

THE EXPERIENCE

For the safety of everyone, guests must remain in their vehicles at all times except in designated areas.

Once you enter The Haunted Road, you must drive the entire road from start to finish as it is a one-way road.

WILL I BE DRIVING THE WHOLE TIME?

DO I NEED TO TURN OFF MY HEADLIGHTS ONCE PARKED?

Vehicles are required to have their headlights on while driving. Once you arrive at a designated parking or stopping area, you will put your vehicle into park and turn off your headlights.

COULD I GET LOST ONCE ON THE HAUNTED ROAD?

Some drivers have reported feeling momentary blackouts or the unexplainable feeling of being "lost" while driving The Haunted Road. If you are not one of those people, then it is relatively easy to navigate as it is a one-way road that you can travel from start-to-finish.

The Haunted Road is estimated to take around 40 minutes to drive from start to finish but varies. We recommend using the bathroom prior to arriving as porta potties are limited.

Vehicles are known to experience unexpected happenings while on The Haunted Road. Tow trucks can only enter The Haunted Road during daylight hours (they are too scared to come at night) so we recommend that all vehicles are tuned up and gas tanks are full prior to entering the experience. In case of an emergency, our road rangers will work with you to safely and immediately relocate your vehicle to the side of the road.
